A single-player trick-taking game where you become the king of a cute forest and negotiate with other leaders!
"Northwood!" is a single-player trick-taking game with an emphasis on hand management.
Your goal is to peacefully unite the fragmented territories of the Northwood into one kingdom. To do so, you will need to visit eight territories, meet with their leaders (trick-taking) and secure their cooperation.
At the beginning, you will have four companions. Each has a unique ability that can be used once per meeting. With this ability, you can draw from the deck, discard, or use other effects to achieve the target score.
Once you have secured the leader's cooperation, you can temporarily replace them with an ally, giving them a more powerful effect that can help during tricky negotiations.
With three difficulty levels and 24 lords (12 per game), the rules are simple, but the strategies are endless and you can play it over and over again!
Scenario book included
The basic game alone is challenging enough, but it also comes with 16 scenarios that you can play under various conditions and aim to clear. Let's take a peek through trick-taking to see how the animals are spending their time after the basic game!
Scratch-resistant and easy to play with! PVC cards
The cards are made of PVC, which is slippery, water-resistant, and scratch-resistant, so you can play with them comfortably without putting them in card sleeves.
Japanese version only! Improved card display for easier play
In the overseas version, the suit and number of the card are written only on the upper left and lower right. However, in the Japanese version, it is improved so that it is written on all four sides. It is easy to play for both right-handed and left-handed customers!
