From the slums where purse snatchers and prostitutes ply their trade, to the Louvre's great halls where whistleblowers, royal astrologers, musketeers and court favourites whisper and scheme - the position of "King's jeweller" has suddenly become a dangerous one!

Set in Paris on the eve of the French Revolution, Queen's Necklace is a game of jewellery, influence and court intrigue. 2-4 players take on the role of royal jewellers, selling rare gems to the Queen and her court.

With your jeweler's loupe in hand, you can acquire beautiful gemstones (diamonds, emeralds, rubies) or buy the favor of the various attendants of the royal court. After three years of craftsmanship, the jeweler who sells the most precious gemstones and makes the biggest fortune will earn the title of "King's Jeweler" and a position at the royal court!
