CMON Japan Paint Contest begins!

In celebration of the KICKSTARTER campaign
CMON Japan will be holding its first ever painting contest!

These high quality miniatures look even better when painted, which adds to the excitement of the game.

Why not give it a try?

We are starting a contest so that many board game users can experience miniature painting!
Anyone can apply, whether you're someone who's just started painting miniatures through this opportunity or someone who has always enjoyed painting!

During the period, users will be asked to vote on X (formerly Twitter) for the work they think is the best from among the works submitted.

The winner of the Most Voted Award goes to...!
We are giving away the complete set of "Cthulhu: Terror of the Unknown - Death Must Die"!

Application method

Just post a photo of your painted work on X (formerly Twitter) with the hashtag "#CMONPaint"!
Click here to create your entry tweet

In your application tweet, you can include a comment about the concept of your work and your enthusiasm.

Requests for submitting photos

• Please post at least 3 photos in the same post
• In addition to the main photo, please post two photos that show the entire work, such as a side view (from a different angle than the main photo)
• Please include the game box or rules manual in the background of the photo
• There is no problem if multiple miniatures are included in the photo, but dioramas will not be accepted.

• Only one piece per person
• Must be a resident of Japan
• Prize shipping information will be sent via DM on X (formerly Twitter), so please be sure to follow the @CMONJAPAN account to receive DMs.
• People who can help with our promotion (using photos and painting)
• The main aim of this painting contest is to contribute to the excitement of the miniature painting and board game community, so in order to allow more people to enjoy miniature painting, excessive modifications and large dioramas are not allowed (they will not be awarded points for the Beautiful Award and Special Award).

Evaluation points

I would like to make miniature painting more popular in board games, so I would prefer something that can be viewed as a simple example.

About voting

How to vote

1. Please check the photos of the submitted works that will be posted on the CMON blog during the voting period.
2. When you click on the voting link for the work you want to vote for, a post for X with the application hashtag will be generated.
3. To enter, simply post a post with the voting hashtag from your X account.

• Limited to one vote per person
• If it is determined that the vote was made from a different account of the same person, it will be considered invalid.
• We want this contest to be a competition based on the quality of the painting, not on personal connections or influence, so please refrain from encouraging people to vote for a specific entrant or their own work. (We welcome you to spread the word about the contest itself. Please do so.)
