The circus has come to town!
On a stage filled with excitement and joy, acrobats, magicians, and wild beasts continue to attract and inspire the imagination of all who visit. You will become the head of a 19th century American circus troupe and travel while scouting for new members. Aim to become the best circus troupe in America!

During a player's turn, you can choose to hire a circus performer or hold a show. At the start of the game, each player's circus is empty, so you need to hire performers to form a troupe. The performers perform splendid acts in each of the three rings (stages) and captivate the audience. Since various profits are brought about depending on the order of the acts, how you put together the show program is also a test of your skill.

Small town shows are easier and will help you get the supplies you need to expand your circus, city shows are more demanding but give you a chance to recruit the best performers, and big cities require specific acts but will earn you the most prestige if you do a good show!

While your little circus is struggling to survive, the much larger Barnum Circus is touring the US. When they reach a major city in a region, a prestige point calculation occurs for that region. Circuses that perform a lot of shows in that region will gain additional prestige.
