PARKS is a game that celebrates America's National Parks, featuring the stunning art of Fifty-Nine Parks.
In PARKS, players take on the role of two hikers, walking different mountain trails throughout the four seasons of the year. Along the way, hikers take actions and collect memories of the places they visit. These memories are represented by various resource tokens, such as mountains and forests. By collecting sets of these memories, players can visit national parks at the end of each hike.
Each trail represents one season of the year, and with each season the trails change and get longer. The trails, represented by tiles, are shuffled during each season and rearranged anew for the next round. Getting resources can be difficult, especially if someone is in your area! Campfires allow you to share your location and time with other hikers, and water bottles and gear can improve your access to resources during the game. It's hard to balance building your engine and using your resources for your parks, but we're sure you're up to the challenge. Welcome to PARKS!
