Increase your influence in Shirasagi Castle by sending your clan members to the best seats in the teahouse.
Ranked #1 in the most anticipated new releases at the world's largest board game event, SPIEL Essen! (BoardGameGeek page)
Chanoyu is the heart of Japan. It is the foundation of daily life, including hospitality, etiquette, and the state of mind of the Heian period. Chanoyu first spread among the samurai class as a place of relaxation free from the chaos of the battlefield, and was perfected as the tea ceremony by Sen no Rikyu in the 16th century, becoming a measure and tool for success. The tea room became not only a place of culture and religion, but also a place for political negotiations within the nation.
In "White Castle Expansion Set: Tea Ceremony," you can send new geisha (Kansai geisha) to new areas such as the special seat of the tea room to further increase your influence in White Castle. A "tea garden board" has been added under the common board, and new districts have been added: "tea room," "castle town," and "green bridge." Your own clan board has also been revamped, and you can strengthen your actions with "tea ceremony tiles." In addition, the green dice give you one more turn each round, making the game even more enjoyable.
*To play this expansion set "Tea Ceremony", you will need the core set "White Castle" !
First-print limited promotional bonus! A "dice tile" set is included.
